SIGNS OF WEAK IMAAN

1) Committing sins and not feeling any guilt. 2) Having a hard heart and no desire to read the Quran. 3) Feeling too lazy to do good deeds, e.g. being late for salah 4) Neglecting the Sunnah. 5) Having mood swings, for instance being upset about petty things and bothered and irritated most of the time. 6) Not feeling anything when hearing verses from the Quran, for example when Allah warns us of punishments and His promise of glad tidings. 7) Finding difficulty in remembering Allah and making dhikr. 8) Not feeling bad when things are done against the Shariah. 9) Desiring status and wealth. 10) Being mean and miserly, i.e. not wanting to part with wealth. 11) Ordering others to do good deeds when not practising them ourselves. 12) Feeling pleased when things are not progressing for others. 13) Being concerned with whether something is haram or halal only; and not avoiding makroo (not recommended) things. 14) Making fun of people who do simple good deeds, like cleaning the mosque. 15) No

Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam once said: “There were two men in the Bani Israeel who were close friends. One of them was a habitual sinner whilst the other exerted himself in acts of worship. The one exerting himself in worship would often see his friend involved in sin and would instruct him: “Refrain from sin” One day he found him engaged in some sin and thus again instructed him: “Refrain from sin!” so the sinner replied: “Leave me to my Allah. Have you been appointed as a watchman over me?” On this the worshipper said: “I swear by Allah, Allah will never forgive you and will never admit you into Jannat.” Then both passed away and were presented in front of the Lord of the worlds. Allah said to the one who strived hard in worship: “Did you have any knowledge regarding me or do you have any control over what lies in my hands?” Allah then said to the sinner: “Go, enter into Jannat because of my mercy.” Regarding the worshipp

Got the winter Blues

Ah...Alhamdulillaah! Winter is here. The nights are long and the days are short..... the temperatures have dropped and the weather is really cool! What a perfect time to take advantage of the weather and utilize it to your benefit. You can increase your good deeds, take care of your obligations and earn the Pleasure of Allaah all at the same time! How? One might ask... Its simple. Make the most of winter by fasting during its short days and praying Qiyaam during the long nights. The smart Muslim is always looking for opportunities and ways to increase his good deeds, seek forgiveness from his Lord, and improve his Deen. He values each and every moment of his life, observing his duties to the best of his ability because he is preparing.....Preparing for that ultimate, inevitable meeting with Allaah, Rabbul 'Aalameen. And the winter season is one perfect and easy way to do just that. ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab said: "Winter is booty for the devout worshippers." Meaning, it i
