As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear Readers, Alhmadullilah, we completed studying Al-Imran, at Qur'an Foundation. Battle of Uhud, left a very deep influence over me. I was so much reflected by it, that browsed to know more and more of this battle. Even had a discussion with a brother {khalifa bhai}. Naming the blog as Baseerath

As Salamu Alaikum Jazakumullah for most of your responses and appreciation. I shall take them as words of encouragement. One of the sisters-in-Islam, has asked me about the name of this blog, "Baseerath" {Baseerah} . Let me clarify that this name has nothing to do with my personal attachment to it. I chose this word for its meaning. Ayah :12: 108 of the Holy Qur'an, Say: This is my way, I call upon Allaah upon Baseerah (clear evidence, sure knowledge), I and whoever follows me and free is Allaah from all imperfections and I am not of those who associate partners with Allaah. [Yoosuf 12:108] The root of this word (baseerah) is from "dhuhoor" (visibility) and "bayaan" (elucidation). Significance of Rabi-ul-Awwal

All praise is for Allaah; we praise Him, seek His aid and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our souls and from the wickedness of our actions. Whosoever Allaah guides, then none can misguide him and whosoever Allaah misguides, then none can guide him I received a SMS, saying, "Rabi-ul-Awwal ka mahina shuru honay wala hai. Pyare nabi S.W.S ne farmaya, jisne sab se pehle kisi ko mubarak baad di uspar dozak ki aag haram [it shud have been haraam} hai---- Duaon mein yaad rakhein. JazakAllah.
