Hate the sin not the sinner.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam once said:

“There were two men in the Bani Israeel who were close friends. One of them was a habitual sinner whilst the other exerted himself in acts of worship. The one exerting himself in worship would often see his friend involved in sin and would instruct him: “Refrain from sin”

One day he found him engaged in some sin and thus again instructed him: “Refrain from sin!” so the sinner replied: “Leave me to my Allah. Have you been appointed as a watchman over me?”

On this the worshipper said: “I swear by Allah, Allah will never forgive you and will never admit you into Jannat.”

Then both passed away and were presented in front of the Lord of the worlds.
Allah said to the one who strived hard in worship: “Did you have any knowledge regarding me or do you have any control over what lies in my hands?”


Allah then said to the sinner: “Go, enter into Jannat because of my mercy.”

Regarding the worshipper Allah commanded: “Take him into Jahannam.”
Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, commenting on this hadith says: “That worshipper uttered such a statement which destroyed both his dunya as well as his aakhirat.”

 The Advice Of Al-Fudayl Ibn ‘Iyฤd Al-Fudayl Ibn I’yฤd ุฑุญู…ู‡ ุงู„ู„ู‡ said to a man, “How many years have come upon you?” The man replied, “60 years.” Al-Fudayl then said, “So for 60 years you have been travelling to meet your Lord and you are on the verge of arriving.” So the man said, “Indeed to Allฤh we belong and to Him we shall return.” Al-Fudayl said, “Do you know the meaning of this statement? Sufferings of this world !

 Why does Allaah allow suffering when He is the Most Merciful?๐ŸŒท by Asma bint Shameem  Earthquakes. Floods. Famine. Sicknesses.  Subhaan Allaah, we see such suffering and we wonder… Why is this happening? Why are there these calamities? Why does Allaah let this happen? Isn’t He ar-Rahmaan, the Most Merciful? It just doesn’t “make sense “! But as a Muslim, we must remember that not everything we see around us has to “make sense”.  Rather, whatever happens is with the decree of Allaah and there’s KHAIR in it, even if we don’t see it or understand it.  Yes we feel sorry when we see people suffering of sicknesses, or dying of hunger or being killed in earthquakes or floods or other disasters.  But we must also remember that as Muslims, part of our Imaan is to believe that our Rabb, Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala is Most Loving, and Most Fair.  Most Wise and Most Merciful.  It’s not enough to just believe that Allaah exists; rather it is EQUALLY important to KNOW and TRULY BELIEVE that Allaah
