Battle of Uhud

As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear Readers, Alhmadullilah, we completed studying Al-Imran, at Qur'an Foundation. Battle of Uhud, left a very deep influence over me. I was so much reflected by it, that browsed to know more and more of this battle. Even had a discussion with a brother {khalifa bhai}. Am sorry i bothered him very much, but i wished even we women participate in such battles. I did not want to limit myselves holding just the intention --. Story : The fisherman and his pearl

There once lived a fisherman who took his job very seriously. He only caught one fish at a time, and only went to fish for another one when the the one he had at home finished. One day, as his wife was chopping up the fish that her husband had brought home, she discovered something amazing. She found a pearl inside the fish. She was astonished, a pearl inside a fish?? SubhanAllah. "Husband, Husband!" she exclaimed, "look what I have found!" "What have you found?" he asked. "A pearl, I have found a pearl inside the fish!" she answered. "What an amazing wife you are! Bring me the pearl, pehaps we will benefit from it and eat food other than fish!" The fisherman took the pearl to a pearl trader. The trader took a look at the pearl, and said "This pearl is so precious, but unfortunately I cannot afford it even if I were to sell my shop and my house! Significance of Rabi-ul-Awwal

All praise is for Allaah; we praise Him, seek His aid and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our souls and from the wickedness of our actions. Whosoever Allaah guides, then none can misguide him and whosoever Allaah misguides, then none can guide him I received a SMS, saying, "Rabi-ul-Awwal ka mahina shuru honay wala hai. Pyare nabi S.W.S ne farmaya, jisne sab se pehle kisi ko mubarak baad di uspar dozak ki aag haram [it shud have been haraam} hai---- Duaon mein yaad rakhein. JazakAllah.
