Battle of Uhud

As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear Readers, Alhmadullilah, we completed studying Al-Imran, at Qur'an Foundation. Battle of Uhud, left a very deep influence over me. I was so much reflected by it, that browsed to know more and more of this battle. Even had a discussion with a brother {khalifa bhai}. Naming the blog as Baseerath

As Salamu Alaikum Jazakumullah for most of your responses and appreciation. I shall take them as words of encouragement. One of the sisters-in-Islam, has asked me about the name of this blog, "Baseerath" {Baseerah} . Let me clarify that this name has nothing to do with my personal attachment to it. I chose this word for its meaning. Ayah :12: 108 of the Holy Qur'an, Say: This is my way, I call upon Allaah upon Baseerah (clear evidence, sure knowledge), I and whoever follows me and free is Allaah from all imperfections and I am not of those who associate partners with Allaah. [Yoosuf 12:108] The root of this word (baseerah) is from "dhuhoor" (visibility) and "bayaan" (elucidation). Signs of a person whom Allah loves

The signs of Allah's love for a person by Ibn-Qayim 1. When Allah loves someone he puts them under trials ( the more righteous they are, the harder the trials) in order to purify them. 2. When Allaah loves someone, he gives them the "understanding" of the religion of islaam. 3. Whomever Allaah loves, he deviates them and their heart from disobedience and sins..
