Dua to be often recited in Rajab & Shabaan

Bismillah Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem

We are into the sacred month of Rajab. Prophet{Sallal lahu alayhi wasallam} used to recite

"ALLAHUMA BAARIK-LANA FI RAJABA WA-SHA'BAAANA WA-BAL-LIGHNA RAMADHAANA" - "O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha'ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings)."

We too, should take the opportunity of reading this dua, often in the months of Rajab and Sha'baan.

 The Advice Of Al-Fudayl Ibn ‘Iyād Al-Fudayl Ibn I’yād رحمه الله said to a man, “How many years have come upon you?” The man replied, “60 years.” Al-Fudayl then said, “So for 60 years you have been travelling to meet your Lord and you are on the verge of arriving.” So the man said, “Indeed to Allāh we belong and to Him we shall return.” Al-Fudayl said, “Do you know the meaning of this statement? Sufferings of this world !

 Why does Allaah allow suffering when He is the Most Merciful?🌷 by Asma bint Shameem  Earthquakes. Floods. Famine. Sicknesses.  Subhaan Allaah, we see such suffering and we wonder… Why is this happening? Why are there these calamities? Why does Allaah let this happen? Isn’t He ar-Rahmaan, the Most Merciful? It just doesn’t “make sense “!
