Dua to be often recited in Rajab & Shabaan

Bismillah Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem

We are into the sacred month of Rajab. Prophet{Sallal lahu alayhi wasallam} used to recite

"ALLAHUMA BAARIK-LANA FI RAJABA WA-SHA'BAAANA WA-BAL-LIGHNA RAMADHAANA" - "O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha'ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings)."

We too, should take the opportunity of reading this dua, often in the months of Rajab and Sha'baan.
